Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from vendors able to provide an American-manufactured iCare MAIA 3.0 fundus-based microperimeter or a domestically produced equal or comparable model. The requested equipment must provide a 60-degree TrueColor confocal fundus image, LSFG blood-flow-map registration, a 25 Hz SLO-based confocal active retinal tracker, an onboard custom grid editor for patient-specific stimulus locations, and a standard mesopic background luminance of 4 asb. The requirement also includes one ophthalmic table for the microperimeter and four hours of remote or in-person training. This is a Sources Sought notice for market research only, not a solicitation for proposals or pricing, and no contract will be awarded from the notice. Respondents must identify the place of manufacture; foreign-manufactured products will not be considered for this market research. The Buy American Act applies.
