Description
The University of Iowa is seeking a qualified supplier to operate the Court Cafe at the College of Law's Boyd Law Building. The selected supplier will provide all food, supplies, management, labor, uniforms, permits, licenses, and related operational resources for morning and lunch service during the regular academic year, generally Monday through Friday excluding University holidays. Proposed food themes and business models are open for consideration, but fountain beverages must be Coca-Cola products and sushi may not be offered. The supplier will be responsible for menu development and pricing, point-of-sale and other required equipment, customer service, daily removal of waste, and maintaining clean and sanitary preparation, service, and dining areas. The proposal must address the supplier's food theme, operating hours, design or renovations if applicable, equipment and estimated costs, business model, pricing or fees, menu items with nutritional information, transition timeline, value-added opportunities, references, key personnel, stakeholder involvement, expertise, risk assessment, and any exceptions to the requirements. The response also requires audited financial statements and an annual report for the previous two years.
