Description
The University of Iowa is seeking a qualified supplier to provide secondary-market ticket sales services for athletic events and other specified events. The initial scope includes the 2027 football season, the 2027–2028 basketball and wrestling seasons, and other athletics or outside events beginning after July 1, 2027. The supplier will provide a proposed structure for primary- and secondary-market ticket distribution, including bulk ticket purchases, single-game or group strategies, pricing consultation, floor and ceiling pricing, dynamic-pricing analytics, customer-service support, sales consolidation, fulfillment guarantees or warranties, and the platforms used for secondary sales. The proposal must also address financial terms such as profit sharing or consignment, potential negative financial impacts to the University, stakeholder involvement, risk assessment, supplier expertise, three comparable references, key personnel, and a single point of managerial contact. The resulting agreement is expected to begin upon contract execution for two years, with three possible one-year extensions, for a potential total term of five years.
