Description
The United Nations Development Programme is soliciting a contractor to complete construction, refurbishment, finishing, and associated works for the Regional School for Humanitarian Demining in Lebanon. The scope covers architectural and finishing works; plumbing, drainage, heating, air-conditioning, and water-storage systems; electrical distribution, wiring, lighting, fire alarms, and UPS equipment; data and network infrastructure; solar photovoltaic systems; and outdoor works. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, connections, testing, commissioning, documentation, and handover activities required for a fully operational facility. The contract is expected to run for 14 months from contract signature, including works, remeasurement, and snag-list activities. Bidders must demonstrate at least 10 years of construction experience, comparable recent projects, substantial financial capacity, qualified full-time site personnel, and the ability to work within a controlled-access military training institution. A mandatory site visit is required, and bids must include completed forms, technical and price submissions, a detailed work plan, material data sheets, financial statements, experience documentation, personnel CVs, a labor plan, commitment documentation, and a USD 75,000 bid security.
