Description
The Kenai Peninsula Borough is soliciting a firm-price bid for expansion and modification of the boiler loop at Kenai Central High School. The work includes demolition and installation of boiler-related heating piping, valves, pumps, insulation, controls, and associated electrical systems, including reconnection and installation of pump starters and disconnects. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, coordination, testing, product data, operating and maintenance manuals, and related work necessary for a complete and operational system. Work may occur only when school is not in session, after hours or on weekends, and must be substantially completed by August 1, 2027. The solicitation requires a completed bid package, tax compliance certification, applicable licensing information, and bid security when the bid exceeds $100,000; performance and payment bonds are required for contracts of $100,000 or more.
