Description
The City of Homer is soliciting professional engineering services for project management of its System 4 Float Replacement Project, a design-build marine infrastructure project awarded to Turnagain Marine Construction. The selected firm will manage the project through design and construction, coordinate with the contractor and federal funding agencies, and serve as the City's owner's representative. The scope includes grant administration and compliance with applicable federal requirements, project planning and scheduling, procurement and contracting assistance, permitting and environmental coordination, design-phase and construction-phase owner's representative services, construction administration and inspection, and coordination with the City's Finance Department. Proposals must include firm experience with similar marine construction project management, at least three comparable completed projects with client contact information, qualifications and a resume for the proposed project manager, project-team and subcontractor information, and a separate cost proposal with hours and billing rates. The technical and cost components must be submitted in separate envelopes or corresponding Bid Express components.
