Description
Fort Valley Utility Commission is soliciting sealed, labor-only bids from experienced and properly licensed electrical utility contractors to construct and install a 7.2 kV phase-to-ground / 12.47 kV phase-to-phase, three-phase underground electric primary feeder system for the Blue Bird Expansion Project. The scope includes trenching, excavation, conduit and primary cable installation, pad-mounted transformers, PME switchgear, primary metering equipment, terminating cabinets, vaults, pads, grounding, terminations, switching, testing, commissioning, restoration, and field-marked as-built information. FVUC will furnish major electrical materials, while the contractor must provide labor, supervision, qualified personnel, equipment, tools, transportation, testing equipment, safety equipment, and other labor-related items. Contractors must comply with applicable ECG, FVUC, MEAG I.T.S., NESC, OSHA, Georgia 811, manufacturer, and other applicable requirements. The project is a one-time construction effort with completion timing to be determined by Parrish Construction and Blue Bird.
