Description
The Macon Water Authority is soliciting sealed bids for a lump-sum warehouse wall remediation project. The base work includes removing existing windows on two elevations, installing wood framing and metal wall panels, and performing masonry remediation, including brick replacement, tuck-pointing, breathable brick sealer installation, and painting. An alternate includes batt insulation, fire-rated sheetrock, and wall packs for exterior lighting. The selected contractor must furnish all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and appurtenances. A 10% bid bond is required, and the successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract price. Bidders must comply with Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation requirements and purchase the contract documents to remain eligible to bid.
