Description
Macon-Bibb County is soliciting a contractor to construct walking trails and a reflecting pond at Rose Hill Cemetery. The work includes all required labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision, site preparation, construction, cleanup, and related improvements shown in the contract documents and plans. Optional add alternates include invasive plant removal and native plant installation, installation of five six-foot backless benches and three trash cans with concrete pads, roadway striping for bicycle lanes or shared-use lanes, and a $10,000 construction-management allowance. Bidders must submit the completed bid package, attend the mandatory site visit and pre-bid conference, and provide a bid bond equal to at least 5% of the total base bid. The selected contractor must provide payment and performance bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract price, and comply with specified insurance requirements.
