Description
Houston County Public Library System is seeking an Internet Service Provider or providers to deliver and maintain a minimum of 1 Gbps Internet service at each of three library branches. The scope includes Internet connectivity, IP address allocation, CIPA-compliant content filtering with on-demand unfiltered access, required equipment and connections, and ongoing service and maintenance. The contractor must also provide managed firewall services, including configuration, administration, monitoring, reporting, remote patching and firmware updates, firewall rule and network configuration changes, Level 1 support, escalation, intrusion protection, URL filtering, licensing, and maintenance. In the event of firewall failure, the contractor must repair or replace the firewall on site. Troubleshooting must begin within four hours during normal library hours, and the proposal must address pricing, implementation, experience, references, insurance, Georgia business licensing, E-Verify compliance, and the required signed proposal forms. The initial contract term is July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028, with possible extensions for up to two additional years.
