Description
Montgomery County is soliciting bids for construction work at the Jobs and Family Services Southview Campus. The project includes furnishing and installing five new interior security doors, access-control cabling and door-control power, signage, electrical modifications, related conduit and wiring, fire-stopping, cutting and patching, and associated work required for a complete installation. The owner’s security vendor will terminate and connect the door-control equipment, while the electrical contractor must provide the low-voltage cabling, conveyance, and power shown in the plans. The solicitation includes construction drawings, technical specifications, prevailing-wage requirements, and county public-improvement bid-selection criteria. Bidders must submit pricing, qualifications and experience information, required certifications and affidavits, bid security, and other electronic forms through the county’s procurement portal. The engineer’s estimate is $122,700, and substantial completion is required by April 2, 2027.
