Description
The California Department of Transportation is soliciting price quotes from a certified Small Business, Microbusiness, Small Business for the purpose of public works, or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise for electrical maintenance and repair services. The contractor must provide all labor, parts, materials, supplies, tools, vehicles, equipment, travel, testing, permits, and incidentals. Work includes routine and non-routine electrical maintenance and repairs; electrical distribution, lighting, fire alarm, smoke detection, sprinkler alarm, motor controls, wiring, conduits, circuit breakers, LED lighting, and related installations or retrofits. The contractor must hold a current California C-10 Electrical Contractor license and Department of Industrial Relations registration. Services will be performed at the specified government facility, including interior, exterior, and underground work, with routine response within 48 hours and non-routine response within two hours. Subcontracting is not permitted. The agreement is estimated to run from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2029, subject to approval, with a maximum quote amount of $484,000. Prevailing-wage requirements apply as specified, and the contractor must provide required testing, certificates, permits, warranties, certified payroll records, and other compliance documentation.
