Description
The Vermont Agency of Education is seeking one or more contractors to plan and deliver at least four and no more than six virtual Response to Violent Intruder Drills and Protocols trainings for Vermont school leaders, educators, staff, school safety partners, and first responders. Training must address evidence-based, options-based drill models; trauma-informed and age-appropriate practices; communication and timing; disability and 504/IEP considerations; legal requirements; case studies; practical exercises; participant assessments; and interactive learning methods. Qualified trainers must have demonstrated experience in K-12 educational environments. The scope also includes planning sessions with Agency of Education staff and partners, train-the-trainer sessions, development of checklists and technical resources, community-facing materials such as flyers and parent FAQs, accessibility- and brand-compliant editable publications, attendance and evaluation tracking, monthly progress reports, and a final narrative report. The contractor must provide at least three recent similar-business references and submit a cover letter, technical response, references, price quotation form, signed Certificate of Compliance, and a single searchable PDF response by email. The contract period is four months, with training activities scheduled between December 1, 2026, and May 1, 2027, and a final report due by June 30, 2027.
