Description
The Bureau of Reclamation is seeking quotations for a total small-business set-aside requirement consisting of 25,000 tons of D100 16-inch riprap and 20,000 tons of bedding material for repairs to the Lower Yellowstone Bypass Canal. The contractor must deliver, haul, and stockpile the materials; provide a loader or comparable equipment and operator to dress the riprap stockpiles into reasonably consolidated, accessible piles; and perform the work in accordance with specified standards. Pricing must include delivery and separately identify the stockpile-dressing lump-sum line item. The riprap and bedding must meet specified gradation, durability, specific-gravity, soundness, and quality requirements. Certified independent-laboratory results, including actual product gradation, must be submitted for approval three days before delivery. ASTM D6473 is accepted as an alternative to ASTM C127 for bulk specific gravity testing. Final acceptance is visual at the delivery location, and nonconforming material may be rejected. The supplier is responsible for maintaining and repairing the government-property portion of the delivery route; no bid guarantee, performance bond, or payment bond is required. The period of performance is December 1, 2026, through November 30, 2027, and all quantities must be delivered no later than November 30, 2027.
