Description
The Montana Department of Transportation is seeking one consulting firm to prepare an alternatives analysis and complete project design through full plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) development for replacing two existing timber structures with new bridges or culverts. The project may also include minor roadway work and approach guardrail improvements. Required services include bridge, roadway, geotechnical, surfacing, survey, hydraulic, right-of-way, environmental and permitting, public involvement, and stakeholder-coordination work, with potential right-of-way acquisition support. Montana professional engineering licensure must be held when the proposal is submitted. The prime consultant is expected to perform at least 50% of the work unless a written exception is granted. Proposals are limited to five pages, excluding required appendices, and must include team qualifications, project approach, resumes, the prescribed cover page form, and at least five similar contracts from the past three years.
