Description
SUNY Plattsburgh is soliciting design services for the renovation of the northeast exterior stairs at Beaumont Hall. The existing concrete stairs, built in 1969, have deteriorated due to harsh winters and require full replacement. The project scope includes an existing conditions assessment, code and compliance review, cost estimating, design development, structural and site engineering, construction drawings and specifications, administration, document review, and project closeout. The total estimated cost for the design and construction of this project is one million dollars. The design phase is scheduled from August 2026 to August 2027, with construction planned from May to October 2028. The university has established participation goals for Minority/Women Business Enterprises (MWBE) at 30% (16% MBE, 14% WBE) and for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB) at 6%.
