Description
The Town of Schroon is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified New York State licensed professional engineering firms to provide services for the Rogers Brook Sewer Main Improvement Project. The selected consultant will be responsible for advancing the project from final design through permitting, bidding, construction administration, inspection, and project closeout. This project is funded in part by the New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation (NYSEFC) Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) Program and the Northern Border Regional Commission (NBRC). The selected consultant must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including but not limited to federal qualifications-based procurement, MWBE/SDVOB participation, Davis-Bacon prevailing wage, Build America, Buy America (BABA), and American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirements. The project involves repairs and/or replacement of sanitary sewer infrastructure located near Rogers Brook and NY Route 9/Main Street. The selected consultant will utilize the completed preliminary design documents and advance the project through final design, agency approvals, bidding, construction, and project closeout. Key areas of focus include coordination with NYSDOT for bridge replacement work, environmental permitting, and construction administration.
