Description
Clarke County Public Schools is soliciting proposals for architectural services to develop bid-ready construction documents for three distinct projects at Boyce Elementary School. These projects include the construction of a new enclosed brick breezeway connecting the gymnasium area, the revision and complete enclosure of an existing breezeway for pre-kindergarten classes, and the renovation and repair of existing windows near the gymnasium. The selected architect will be responsible for developing detailed specifications and drawings that cover all necessary construction aspects, including structural, HVAC, roofing, and ADA compliance. The goal is to have these bid-ready documents completed by December 31, 2026, to facilitate bidding for construction services in early 2027, with construction intended to be finished before the start of the 2027-2028 school year. The architect will also be expected to attend pre-bid meetings for the construction phase, answer vendor questions, and assist with construction management to ensure compliance with the developed specifications.
