Description
The County of Orange is soliciting quotes from qualified architectural and engineering (A/E) firms to provide services for the Orange County Government Center signage project. The scope of work includes developing design plans, technical specifications, bid documents, cost estimates, and providing construction administration services for the replacement and/or refurbishment of existing monument signs and the creation of new entrance and parking lot signage. The project involves a design development phase, a construction documents and bidding service phase, and a construction contract administration service phase. The A/E firm will be responsible for reviewing existing signage, developing conceptual ideas, preparing design development plans, finalizing construction documents, assisting with the bidding process, and providing on-site construction representation as needed. Firms must have a minimum of five years of experience in providing similar services and must be licensed professional architects or engineers in New York State. The anticipated contract term is ninety days after final project completion, with potential for extension at the County's discretion.
