Description
North Country Rural Development Coalition (NRDC) is soliciting bids for two distinct projects in Essex County, New York. The first project involves the installation of a pre-purchased Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) in Keene, NY. This includes site preparation, foundation interface, unit installation, grading, driveway improvements, septic and utility hookups, and obtaining necessary permits and inspections. The second project is the new construction of a 16' x 24' cabin with a loft in Keeseville, NY, assuming the foundation is already in place. The scope for this project includes framing, roofing, exterior and interior finishes, windows, doors, insulation, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fixtures, appliances, utility connections, septic verification, and obtaining permits. For both projects, contractors must verify site conditions and coordinate all work to achieve code compliance and final approvals. No work may begin until NRDC issues a written Notice to Proceed. The bid deadline is Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
