Description
Franklin County, New York is soliciting bids for a fixed-price contract to construct and install Musco Poles and related wireless and network infrastructure. The scope of work includes the delivery, acceptance, and installation of pole foundations, poles, associated hardware, climbing hardware, and stacking. The bid also includes the installation of all wireless and network equipment and cabling, as well as testing and turn-up of the service. The Musco Pole and some network equipment will be provided by the County; all other labor and materials are to be provided by the contractor. The project is funded through the New York State Municipal Infrastructure Program (MIP) and will involve the installation of four Musco Poles at various sites within Franklin County. The selected contractor will be responsible for all labor, equipment, and materials necessary for an operational system, adhering to industry standards and project specifications. The work will be performed within the Franklin County public right-of-way, requiring the contractor to maintain safe passage at all times and comply with all roadway, public safety, and right-of-way requirements.
