Description
Gilbert Public Schools is soliciting proposals for an Administrative Services Only (ASO) vision program that duplicates or improves its existing benefit levels. The selected vendor will administer claims and payments, eligibility and enrollment, coordination of benefits, participant communications, explanations of benefits, claims forms, reporting, secure online access, and customer service. The vendor must also provide an account management team, bilingual educational materials, benefit booklets or summaries, and open-enrollment support, including presentations and meeting attendance as requested. The initial plan year is July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028, with a desired rate guarantee through June 30, 2030 and two additional one-year renewal options. The district expects approximately 3,910 eligible employees, with vision coverage available to employees enrolled in a medical plan and paid entirely by the district. Proposals are evaluated on qualifications, price, ability to perform, and responsiveness; a separate technical response and cost proposal are required.
