Description
The City seeks a contractor to remove and dispose of an existing concrete driveway measuring approximately 23 by 32 feet, prepare the subgrade, and install and compact a stone base. The contractor must furnish and install a rebar mat or City-approved alternative, then form, place, and finish an 8-inch-thick concrete slab with a minimum compressive strength of 4,000 PSI. The finished surface must be properly graded and suitable for use as a driveway. The work also includes coordinating the timing of the facility’s front-gate exit loop installation with the City, removing construction debris, and leaving the work area clean. The City will provide barricades. Bidders must submit a valid Certified General Bidder’s License and disclose any deviations or additional charges. The successful bidder must obtain a City business license before work begins; insurance certificates are required before work starts, not with the bid. The solicitation states that subcontracting or assignment requires the City Administrator’s written consent.
