Description
The City seeks a contractor to repair the concrete ramp at Fire Station 1. The work includes concrete suitable for fire apparatus, rebar reinforcement and dowels tied into the existing concrete, and a gravel base for drainage. The addendum specifies that equipment staging must remain on West Thomas Street and that emergency access must not be interrupted during construction. The addendum states that no bid, performance, or payment bonds are required. A certificate of insurance must be provided to the City before work begins, and a Professional Engineer's approval is required to confirm the proposed pavement section can support the vehicles using it.
