Description
The Montreal School Service Centre is seeking one or more general contractors licensed by Quebec's Régie du bâtiment under subcategory 1.3, “Entrepreneur en bâtiments de tout genre,” to perform various repair and renovation work on demand at the school service centre's buildings. The work is general construction rather than specialized trades such as elevator mechanics, boilermakers, refrigeration technicians, or roofers. The contract is based on hourly rates, will run for one year from the date of award, and includes one one-year renewal option. A bid guarantee is required: $80,000 for an eligible bid bond, or $40,000 for an eligible financial-institution bond or irrevocable letter of guarantee. Electronic submissions are accepted only through SEAO; paper submissions must be sealed and hand-delivered to the procurement office by the closing deadline.
