Description
The City of Burlington, through the Church Street Marketplace, is seeking a contractor for a three-year program of holiday and winter lighting services. Work includes removing existing lights from approximately 76 trees, installing and maintaining warm-white LED light strands on all four blocks of the Marketplace, decorating a 40- to 45-foot Christmas tree, and installing garland on steel cables at the Main, College, Bank, and Cherry Street intersections. The contractor must provide the required equipment and crews, including a bucket truck and two workers for most lighting tasks, and a chainsaw, chipper, bucket truck, and crew for tree-related work. Tree-related services include assisting with securing and cutting down a donated tree at a private residence in the greater Burlington area, grinding the stump, installing and removing lights, and removing the tree from Church Street. Proposers must complete the cost quote forms in the Scope of Work and possess all licenses required to operate machinery. The selected contractor must also provide required certifications and insurance documentation before contract performance or award as specified in the solicitation.
