Description
The City of Lawrence is soliciting proposals from one or more qualified contractors to provide comprehensive grounds and landscape maintenance services on an as-needed basis. The scope includes routine mowing, vegetation control, debris and litter removal, seasonal cleanup, landscape-bed maintenance, planting, pruning, fertilization, plant health and pest management, turf care, tree pruning and removal, stump grinding, arborist consultation, irrigation inspection and repair, equipment and material support, mobilization, and emergency response. The resulting agreement will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity master service contract with task orders or work authorizations issued as needed; no minimum quantity of work is guaranteed. Services may be required at parks, municipal facilities, rights-of-way, medians, trails, open spaces, landscaped areas, other public-use properties, and authorized private properties involved in City code-enforcement actions. Contractors must furnish labor, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and other resources, maintain 24/7 emergency-service capability, and provide qualified personnel for regulated or specialized work. The initial term is one year upon contract execution, with up to four additional one-year renewals by mutual agreement.
