Description
The County of Riverside is seeking a vendor to provide badges and related repair, refurbishment, replacement, and customization services for the Riverside County Fire Department and Probation Department on an as-needed basis. Required offerings include department and rank-specific badges, numbered and retirement badges, replacement badges, badge cleaning and polishing, finish restoration, replating where applicable, enamel repair, hardware replacement, straightening, and full refurbishment to like-new condition. The solicitation requires firm unit pricing, proposed turnaround times, warranty coverage for parts and labor, and delivery and packaging pricing. Addendum 1 adds Exhibit C with photographs of the required badge designs and dimensions. The County does not guarantee a minimum purchase quantity or expenditure; historical purchases reported in the addendum totaled $43,406.12 in 2024, $53,358.26 in 2025, and $24,447.54 in 2026, with a stated grand total of $213,921.72.
