Description
Polk County, Florida is soliciting bids for grounds maintenance services at its water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, and lift stations located in the North Region. The scope includes mowing, tree care, weeding, hedge trimming, shrub pruning, mulching, fertilizer application, soil aeration, grading, sloping, irrigation services, softscaping, litter pickup, and other landscaping-related services. Services are to be performed on a weekly basis from May through September and bi-weekly from October through April. The contract period runs from notice to proceed through September 30, 2029, with a possible extension of up to 120 days. Bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit on August 28, 2026. Bids are due by 2:00 PM on September 16, 2026.
