Description
Citrus County is seeking contractors to provide ongoing mowing and landscaping maintenance at County-owned and operated properties in Beverly Hills, Lecanto, Floral City, and Inverness. The scope includes mowing turf; string trimming; mechanical edging; pruning shrubs, hedges, groundcover, and low tree limbs; weed removal and vegetation control; litter, grass-clipping, and debris removal; drainage and curb maintenance; site inspections; and notification of damage, hazards, irrigation deficiencies, vandalism, or other corrective needs. Contractors must furnish all labor, supervision, commercial-grade equipment, tools, materials, transportation, and incidentals, and maintain adequate trained personnel and backup equipment. Pricing is divided into three areas: Beverly Hills and Lecanto; Floral City; and Inverness. Bidders may submit for one, two, or all three areas, and the County may award individual areas or combinations of areas to one or more bidders. The approximate maintained lawn area is 28.78 acres, with locations receiving approximately 20 or 30 annual service visits. The agreement term is two years, with three additional one-year renewal options by mutual agreement. The solicitation identifies an approximate budget of $72,436.00. Bids must be submitted electronically through OpenGov, and bidders must attend at least one of the two mandatory pre-bid conferences. Required submission materials include the electronic Bid Form, certificate(s) of insurance, subcontractor list if applicable, proof of active Florida business registration, Bidder's Qualification Statement, conflict-of-interest documentation if applicable, Human Trafficking Affidavit, and Equipment & Staffing Resources Form.
