Description
The Town of Rutland, acting through its Chief Procurement Officer, seeks a contractor to provide complete operation, maintenance, and management services for the Rutland Water Treatment Facility. The system includes one surface-water reservoir, a filtration plant, two active 1.0-million-gallon storage tanks, and related infrastructure. The Muschopauge Pond Water Filtration Plant receives water from Muschopauge Pond and has a 1.5-million-gallon-per-day design capacity. Treatment includes filtration through Trident package units, followed by disinfection, fluoridation, pH adjustment, and corrosion control through chemical injection. The facility also has a propane-fueled emergency generator. The broader scope includes regulatory compliance, reporting, emergency response, preventive maintenance, asset management, capital planning, and technical support. The contract requires appropriately licensed and certified personnel and an initial five-year term with up to three additional five-year renewal terms.
