Description
The Nanty Glo Water Authority is soliciting bids for construction improvements to its water treatment plant. The work includes installation of a third filtration unit; construction of a second backwash equalization tank; installation of a precast valve vault and parallel plate settling vault; construction of a new garage building; and associated site work, demolition, and appurtenances. Bidders may submit for Contract 2026-1 (General/Mechanical Work), Contract 2026-2 (HVAC Work), and Contract 2026-3 (Electrical Work). Each bid must include bid security equal to 10% of the total bid, in the form of a certified check, bank draft, negotiable U.S. Government bonds, or an acceptable bid bond. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract price. Similar project experience and a Qualifications Statement for the prime contractor are required. Davis-Bacon and federal wage rates, employment verification, nondiscrimination, prevailing labor, American Iron and Steel, and other funding-related requirements apply.
