Description
The California Highway Patrol is soliciting bids for access to a weapons firing range and training facilities, including restrooms, for personnel assigned to its Beaumont Area Office. The facility must support recurring pistol, tactical rifle, and shotgun qualification, practice, night, make-up, and weapons test-firing activities, with specified distances and annual usage requirements. The contractor must maintain the range in usable condition, comply with applicable environmental and lead-mitigation obligations, and provide facility use at mutually agreed times. The award will be made to the responsive and responsible bidder offering the lowest evaluated cost. The agreement is anticipated to run from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2029, subject to approval and funding. Bidders must submit the required bid forms, certifications, client references, and business documentation, with a local business license required by the bid due date; proof of liability insurance is required before agreement execution.
