Description
The City of Kelowna is seeking an operator to ensure service continuity and manage the H2O Adventure & Fitness Centre as a safe, accessible, affordable, inclusive, and financially responsible community asset. The operator must support the City's active-living, preventive-health, inclusion, quality-of-life, social-connection, and community-wellness goals while responding to emerging community needs. The scope includes delivery of core aquatic, fitness, wellness, and community recreation services, along with day-to-day operations, programming, staffing, maintenance, customer service, marketing, financial administration, regulatory compliance, emergency preparedness, asset stewardship, and operational and performance reporting. The initial operating term is five years, with a City option to extend for one additional five-year term. Required proposal materials include experience and qualifications, an operating framework, financial capability and capacity, sustainability information, a questionnaire, and a completed financial submission pro forma.
