Description
The National Park Service (NPS) is soliciting quotes for the replacement of the existing Firelite Fire Alarm System at Lake Powell School. The current system is experiencing issues due to age, impacting its critical safety functions. The NPS requires a licensed fire systems contractor to remove the existing components and install a new system, including a Notifier Addressable Firewarden Panel, Honeywell power supply, batteries, LCD annunciator, addressable detectors and modules, intelligent duct detectors, addressable relay modules, indoor and outdoor horn strobes, and addressable pull stations. The contractor will also be responsible for performing a site assessment, testing the new system, restoring work areas, and providing documentation and basic instruction to school staff. The period of performance is 30 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with an estimated completion date of September 1, 2026.
