Description
This solicitation is for a system upgrade to the existing Monaco D-21 system at Kingsley Field Air National Guard Base. Monaco Enterprises, Inc. (MEI) is the original manufacturer and service provider for the fire, security, and life safety equipment and services currently in use. These systems primarily comprise proprietary software developed by MEI and its licensed vendors, which is licensed directly to end-users. MEI retains exclusive ownership of the software and does not authorize third parties to alter or add to MEI software or equipment. The proposed equipment is selected for its compatibility with the existing Monaco System and the required specifications supplied by the customer. While other equipment may meet the customer's technical specifications, it has not been verified to be compatible with the existing Monaco System for the specified integration request, therefore no other products from other manufacturers would offer the same functionality. MEI technicians provide installation expertise afforded by factory training, and they also have the tools and capability to program the equipment, including the existing Monaco System equipment, as well as the test equipment required to verify proper installation and operation of the completed systems and make any repairs necessary.
