Description
This solicitation is for the replacement of fire alarm systems in up to eight housing units located at Katmai National Park & Preserve in King Salmon, Alaska. The existing fire alarm systems are outdated, require frequent repairs, and are difficult to source parts for. The contractor will be responsible for assessing existing conditions, developing a code-compliant system design, and replacing the existing Simplex fire alarm panels and devices with new, non-proprietary, multi-zone addressable systems compatible with existing fire suppression components. The new systems must meet current NFPA, IBC, and NEC requirements, include necessary wiring, detectors, notification appliances, and backup power. The period of performance is estimated from July 15, 2026, to June 1, 2027. The solicitation is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside.
