The City of Nanaimo is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for comprehensive security alarm system services. This includes the supply, installation, monitoring, and maintenance of these systems across various city facilities. The scope of work encompasses alarm monitoring for fire, intrusion, elevator, hold-up, and ammonia detection. Additionally, contractors will be responsible for end-to-end preventative maintenance of alarm monitoring equipment, to be performed twice annually. The solicitation also covers "as and when requested" supply, installation, and maintenance work. This Request for Proposal is subject to the New West Partnership Trade Agreement, the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (Chapter 5), and the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (Chapter 19).
