Description
This solicitation is for the installation and partial replacement of fire alarm panels for the Department of Veterans Affairs at the St. Cloud VAMC located at 4801 Veterans Drive, St. Cloud, MN 56303. The requirement is specifically for Edwards EST4 Fire Alarm Panels. The existing EST3 fire alarm system is at the end of its life and requires replacement with the EST4 solution. The project includes replacing 26 EST4 panels, 17 remote annunciators, and upgrading the FireWorks software and associated computer. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all equipment, labor, materials, and supervision necessary for the replacement and installation. This includes maintaining the fire alarm network during the upgrade, managing ICRA containment, and providing on-site training for eight VA staff members. The period of performance is July 15, 2026, to July 14, 2027, with an estimated 90 calendar days for fieldwork and an additional 40 days for administration. Work is to be performed Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, excluding Federal Holidays. Storage onsite is limited to a designated outlot, and no storage within the campus system is permitted.
