Description
The University of Maine System, specifically the University of Maine at Augusta (UMA), is soliciting proposals for comprehensive life safety services. These services include fire alarm monitoring, annual fire alarm inspections, and fire alarm repair. The scope of work covers UMA's campuses in Augusta and Bangor, including specific buildings and fire alarm panel systems listed in the solicitation. The University anticipates an initial contract term of three years, with the possibility of two additional one-year extensions. Subcontracting for monitoring services is permitted, but not for inspection and repair services. The evaluation process will consider cost (30%), contract terms (10%), organization, qualifications, experience, and references (30%), and general, implementation, and support aspects (30%).
