Description
Daniels & Daniels Construction Co., Inc., serving as Construction Manager at Risk for Pender County Schools, is soliciting bids from prequalified HVAC subcontractors for the Pender High School Food & Nutrition Lab Renovation. The lump-sum, turnkey scope includes coordinating HVAC demolition; receiving, rigging, setting, and installing the owner-purchased DOAS-1; furnishing and installing four Type II kitchen hoods; installing exhaust fans, grease-rated exhaust ductwork, supply and transfer ductwork, dampers, air devices, insulation, duct smoke detection, condensate components, and filters; and relocating an existing thermostat. The subcontractor must provide DDC controls integrated with the existing Schneider TAC/CSI system through an authorized integrator, including control wiring, sequences, fan switches, hood auto-start, and gas-solenoid interlock. The scope also includes independent testing, adjusting, and balancing; startup; warranties; operation and maintenance manuals; training; required permits and fees; site protection and cleanup; background checks; E-Verify compliance; and coordination with the construction schedule. Bidders must be prequalified, submit the provided bid form in a sealed envelope, and comply with stated insurance, warranty, safety, and closeout requirements.
