The California Department of State Hospitals is seeking a contractor to provide Client Support Technicians through the SkillBridge Program. Technicians will support the Technology Services Division across six locations by maintaining, configuring, testing, documenting, and repairing desktops, laptops, mobile computers, printers, phones, peripherals, audio/visual equipment, and related software; responding to service desk calls and tickets; coordinating warranty repairs; tracking assets; supporting electronic health record access and peripherals; replacing personal duress alarm tags; and managing user accounts and access rights through Active Directory and ServiceNow. The work may be performed remotely or in person depending on operational needs, with travel to DSH facilities as required. Individual SkillBridge assignments must last at least 90 days and no more than 180 days. The agreement is scheduled to run from November 1, 2026, or final execution if later, through June 30, 2028, with one optional one-year extension. The stated total agreement cost is $1,500,000, and pricing is based on hourly rates for Client Support Technicians under a time-and-materials arrangement. Contractors must complete background checks and onboarding requirements, comply with facility safety, privacy, security, and infection-control requirements, and provide weekly status reports, monthly invoices, and monthly budget burn reports.
