Description
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources is soliciting bids for the purchase and removal of a house located at 12200 Honey Creek Place, Moravia, Iowa, within Honey Creek State Park. The successful bidder must obtain all necessary permits, assume responsibility for the structure after acceptance, and remove it from the premises no later than May 31, 2027. The site must be left free of debris and orderly, and all solid waste generated by the removal must be taken to a permitted sanitary landfill. Tree removal or trimming requires approval from Iowa Department of Natural Resources staff. Bidders must submit the provided bid form, a $500 certified check drawn on an Iowa bank as the bid guarantee, and the required bid amount; the successful bidder must pay the full bid amount within 10 days after notification of the possession date.
