Description
The City of Santa Paula is soliciting bids for waterproofing and drainage improvements at the Santa Paula Oil Museum. The work includes preparing and waterproofing the exterior basement wall and raised planter walls; relocating drainage piping; installing weep holes and a monitoring pipe; removing and replacing planter electrical conduit and waterproof outlet boxes; backfilling trenches and planters with slurry; and regrading adjacent areas. The contractor must also construct reinforced concrete bench tops and a walkway, modify and repaint existing fencing and gates, reseal former basement window openings, provide all labor, materials, equipment, permits, inspections, and safety measures, and comply with California prevailing-wage and Department of Industrial Relations registration requirements. The stated completion duration is 10 days, with work generally performed Monday through Friday. A performance bond equal to 100% of the award is required, and bidders must submit a bonding-agent letter confirming bond availability.
