Description
The City of Little Rock is soliciting bids for concrete sidewalk replacement and repair at the Rebsamen Tennis Complex. The work includes removing damaged concrete slabs and debris; limited dirt removal; subgrade preparation with compacted existing grades and SB-2 gravel; installation of new four-inch, 3,000-psi concrete slabs with dowels and welded wire reinforcement; patch repairs; joint and sealant work; and restoration of affected grade areas. Certain replacement areas require under-drainage. The contractor must provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment, maintain a clean and secure work site, install temporary pedestrian routes and safety controls, and coordinate work while the facility remains operational. Bidders must submit a Statement of Vendor's Qualifications, a completed and signed Combined Certifications for Contracting with the City of Little Rock form, a copy of an Arkansas State Contractor License, and a completed Bid Form. A bid bond of 5% is required for bids of $50,000 or more. The project must begin within 10 calendar days after written notice to proceed and be completed within 60 consecutive calendar days. A Certificate of Insurance is required before award, with specified workers' compensation, general liability, personal injury, and property damage coverage.
