Description
The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is soliciting proposals for a single concessionaire to operate the golf pro shop concession at Sunken Meadow State Park. The scope includes pro shop retail sales, golf cart and pull-cart rentals, golf equipment rentals, driving range operations and equipment maintenance, golf instruction and clinics, annual junior golf events, support for golf outings, customer service, marketing, point-of-sale reporting, and maintenance of the concession premises and equipment. The licensee must provide specified minimum cart and rental-equipment inventories, operate in coordination with the golf course tee-time schedule, conduct required clinics and tournaments, and perform the work at its own cost. Proposals must include required certifications and forms, a financial proposal, business and operations plans, annual pro forma projections, marketing strategy, key-personnel resumes, three current business references, and evidence of financial security or bonding capacity. The initial license term is five years, with a possible extension of up to five additional years by mutual written agreement and required state approval.
