Description
Nassau BOCES is soliciting bids to establish pricing for a broad catalog of construction and electrical supplies available for purchase through blanket purchase agreements. Items include electrical boxes, breakers, cable and wire, conduit and fittings, receptacles, switches, lighting fixtures and lamps, service equipment, motors and controls, fasteners, electrical tools, testing equipment, and related materials. The bid contains more than 600 line items, generally with a quantity of one per line item, and permits equal products when the bidder provides the required manufacturer, brand, catalog, and specification information. The resulting agreement is intended for purchases during the current school year, with a one-year term from award and possible extension by mutual agreement for two additional one-year periods. Awards may be made by item, class of items, as a whole, or not at all, and participating school districts and other eligible political entities may issue their own purchase orders. Delivery is generally required within 15 days after receipt of a purchase order, with inside delivery required.
