Description
The City of Gainesville is soliciting sealed bids to lease one food truck stall at the Gainesville Texas Farmers Market, located at 215 W. Elm Street, for one year from bid acceptance. The minimum proposed annual lease bid is $400. The selected vendor must specify its operating hours for each day of the week and comply with the market agreement, including space, waste-disposal, storage, inspection, and operating requirements. At bid submission, bidders must provide the proposed annual lease amount, weekly hours of operation, and proof of general liability insurance. Insurance of $1 million naming the City of Gainesville as an additional insured is required after bid acceptance and before contract execution. Post-acceptance requirements include obtaining a food establishment permit, maintaining food-handler certification, executing a commissary agreement, and providing a Texas sales tax permit.
