Pikes Peak State College seeks qualifications to establish a prequalified pool of up to three architectural and engineering firms for design services on future campus projects. Anticipated work includes building renovations, space modifications, facility improvements, and parking lot upgrades, ranging from minor interior work to larger renovations and infrastructure improvements. Individual project budgets are expected to range from $50,000 to $1,000,000; selection to the pool does not guarantee work, and firms will be invited to submit project-specific scopes, schedules, staffing plans, and fee proposals as assignments arise. The selected firms will support projects through planning, design, bidding, and construction administration using the Design/Bid/Build delivery method. Minimum qualifications include a Colorado-licensed or registered Principal Architect of Record, at least two years in business under the same name, and an office within 80 miles of the college's Centennial Campus. Colorado labor must perform at least 80% of the work, and preference is given to Colorado resident vendors and Colorado labor. The initial prequalified-list term is two years.
