Description
Parker Water & Sanitation District is requesting proposals from qualified consulting firms to design a 30-inch sewer interceptor between Mainstreet and the South Water Reclamation Facility sewer collection chamber. The project is intended to improve collection-system hydraulics, increase capacity for future growth, and improve operational flexibility and reliability. The scope includes project management; review of existing documentation; evaluation of two alternative alignments; surveying; utility locating and potholing; geotechnical exploration and testing; groundwater monitoring; permitting; environmental surveys; utility documentation; easement acquisition; preliminary, detailed, and final design; risk management; and bidding assistance. Required design deliverables include technical memoranda, geotechnical and environmental documentation, permit materials, easement documentation, preliminary and final design plans and specifications, risk registers, opinions of probable construction cost, and bid-package support. Proposals are limited to 12 single-sided pages, subject to stated exceptions, and must include a transmittal letter, executive summary, firm background, project-team qualifications, project approach and schedule, and at least three similar projects completed within the past five years with client references. A separate fee proposal is required in PDF or Excel format.
